Mastering Submissions Recommendations

Before sending any files, please read carefuly. If you need any help, just get in touch.

• File Name 01 Artist - Song (mix version).wav
• File Resolution 24 bit dithered or 32 bit floating point WAV
• Sample Rate - Same sample rate you have been recording and mixing in.
• Headroom - If exporting in 24 bit WAV the max peak should not exceed 0 dBFS. If exporting in 32 bit WAV, headroom is virtually limitless so there is nothing to worry about re peak levels.
• Mixbus Processing - Export the mix with all sound processing on but without final limiting or clipping. Everything you mix through becomes part of your mix. If you have compressors on the mix bus send a version with and a version without. If you have limited references please send them too.
• Sequencing - Send in a track list with the correct sequence you want your songs in.
• Fades - If you want special fade ins or fade outs you should tell me where the fades should begin and end. Sending in an example file can be a good idea.
• Transitions - If you want special transitions between songs please provide an example file for reference.
• Noise Reduction - If you need noise reduction please leave empty noise in the beginning and/or end of the mix file.
• DDP - Send in a Label Copy with the ISRC and EAN/UPC codes.
• Vinyl - Send in the catalogue number for the record and contacts of the pressing plant.
• Uploads - You can upload your files to a file sharing service of your preference and send me a download link. Make sure you set permissions that allow me to download and ideally don't send links that expire.
